Meditation
"Debbie Darrin is a practical and accessible guide to meditation and mindfulness practice. Her classes are a treasure in providing wisdom and insight into meditation that has greatly enhanced my practice over the last several years. It has not only helped transform my practice but has been useful in giving me something to live with and live by."

"I've attended Saturday morning meditation and mindfulness sessions led by Debbie Darrin for about two years and I continue to learn and grow from each hour we spend sitting, listening, talking, and meditating together. Debbie creates a warm, safe environment, even on Zoom, that encourages the calm that allows insight to happen. With poems, quotations and readings from teachers both living and not, a weekly theme is skillfully developed. Debbie's humor and intelligence meld the ideas with personal life, and allows time for sharing at the end of meditation to further explore and expand learning. I truly enjoy the group and my dear fellow meditators who share their experiences and insights. This hour, every week, helps me bring the dharma into my everyday life."

"Practicing with Debbie & the wonderful people in the Sangha groups has been a solid foundation and continual support for Love and the ability to understand what forgiveness, impermanence and attachment to anything but Love truly means."

"Debbie Darrin has a calm, relaxed, and steady teaching style that helps me anchor into my practice of the Dharma.
She is patient and kind encouraging Sangha members to share and ask questions. I look forward to Debbie's offerings each week. I have learned to not take myself so seriously, and to calm my reactivity.
Debbie's teachings are very relatable, and a great way to stay on the path to awakening."

“I am quite new in exploring Buddhism and have been delighted with Debbie’s inspiring guidance. She is very down to earth and explains how Buddha’s suttas and teachings help her to navigate life’s challenges.
Every day I surprise myself when I suddenly respond with kindness instead of criticism. I feel much less afraid and free to engage with compassion and empathy. This makes me smile: I know who to thank.
Debbie’s willingness to share her understanding of the principles of Buddhism has permitted me to travel a path less travelled.”

"I have been meditating with Debbie as my teacher for several years and I so appreciate her down to earth, yet full of wonder style. She is unique and has her own voice and take on things. She opens a fresh way of looking at life and the world."

“I’ve been attending Debbie Darrin’s Thursday and Saturday meditation groups for over two years and, as a result, those two meetings have become a staple in my meditation practice. I don’t miss a one unless my schedule absolutely does not allow for it on any given day.
There are multiple reasons I love these meetings….the connection I feel with the other regular members of the sangha (of which there are many!) and the quality of the meditations themselves to name two. But, the primary reason I’m a regular is Debbie herself. I’ve never met a more kind, caring and supportive person. She is a joy to interact with and, to me, is the perfect role model for how a dharma teacher should be to establish trust and connection within a sangha!”

"Debbie taught me how to meditate. Others have tried but Debbie has a patience and calming manner unique to her instruction. I felt so calm and safe while learning causing time to fly by ending with peace flowing throughout my body and spirit.
Thank you Debbie"

"I started my meditation journey in the late 1990's with meditation classes and yoga classes and later Tae Chi classes, both of which I consider meditation in motion. In 2013 I became involved with a local Sangha and eventually met Debbie Darrin in that group when she was just starting her leadership studies in meditation. Even before I became involved in the meditation groups she facilitates, I sensed a special presence with Debbie. With the inception of Covid, I started on-line meditation groups with Debbie two mornings a week and continue with those groups now. I very much look forward to our morning meditations. Debbie's influence is an integral part of my evolving awareness and meditation practice. She is very generous and giving in sharing the journey of her heart and spirit, and with loving kindness, encouraging group members to do so also."

" I always wanted to try drawing or painting but I never believed I had talent. I was always so intimidated I never even tried even in the privacy of my own home. She was the only person I felt safe with to even try to create. So when she offered her Art4Healing classes I jumped right in with no intimidation. I may
never hang any piece of work I have done on my walls but each piece reminds me of the who & why I am in this physical form Now.
Thank you Debbie for continuing to open more paths of Enlightenment."'
